The lady Mistangs came away with a 5-0 win, to go 5-0 in districts. The Seminole team didn't come to play and made several errors, the wind didn't help them either. Their outfield, just couldn't judge the wind and missed several pop flies. Our girls played a good defensive and offensive game.
We paly Greenwood on Tes, then we are off to Ft Worth on Wed for Bailey's appointment on thurs morning.

Our little Princess turns 5.
Rieley Ann turned 5 today. I, so wish I could stop time. For some reason, she came into our room and 230am, and joined us in bed. So, we were able to wish her a very early Happy Birthday. The time has flown by since we brought her home from China. I can't believe, she will start kindergarten in the fall. She says, : I can go to school now, I am 5."
She woke up happy and ready for the day, after a quick bath and breakfast, we headed to Storyhour. She was given a crown to wear and the kids and adults sang Happy Birthday to her.
We then came home for lunch, games and reading. She was so content to wait until all of the big kids were home to have her cake and open her gifts. We finally opened gifts at 715pm and had cake at 730pm. She got lots of nice things, with mainly one theme, :princesses".
She had requested Chinese food for dinner, so mom made homemade beef lo mein and cheated with the sweet and sour chicken, used some bought from the store.
Weare so blessed to have Rieley in our family. Her Chinese mother made a difficult decision 5 years ago and we think it was the best decision. I hope and pray, she will somehow realize, her daughter, is loved and cared for. She has brought so much joy and love to this family. We love you to the moon and back Rieley Ann.

Lady Mustangs vs. Ft. Stockton
The girls, almost lost the game tonight. Had a 5 to 2 lead, dassappear and go behind 5 to 7, then in the bottom of the 7th Allison F, hit a beautiful 3 run homerun to win the game. They did battle back to win, but had way too many errors. Bailey continues to see no play time, until we go see the dr in Ft Worth next Thurs.
No pictures taken tonight.

Aunt Kitty's visit.
We were able to enjoy a very short but GREAT visit from Rieley's Godmother, from Sun March 20- Wed March 23. She flew into Midland and we picked her up on our way back from the San Marcus softball tournament.
We didn't do much, other than visit. We did go into Midland and let Rieley do her birthday shopping, at Uncle Richie's expense. We went to the girls district opener against Seminole, and showed Aunt Kitty the scenery doesn't change much around here. Dirt, cattle, oil pumps and more dirt.
We loved having her here and wish she could have stayed longer, but she was off to meet Uncle Richie in AZ and watch the Cubs in the spring training. Hoping the area didn't scare her off and she does come back. She was helping Bailey and I push for a much needed pool. We will see if she was any help.I was a bad mom and didn't take very many pictures at all. Rnjoy the few I have.

Butterfly Garden
We bought Rieley a butterfly garden a while back. Tim, ordered the caterpillars and they have arrived. They have started out really small. Now, we watch them daily as they eat the food in the container and grow. In 7-10 days, they are suppose to attach themselves to the lid and form their caccoons. Then, we will transfer them into the hanging net basket provided to us and watch as they become Painted Lady Butterflies.
Follow along with us as we grow butterflies.
We are one week into watching them grow and change, wow, they grow fast. They are over an inch long each and making alot of silk, plus working their way up to the lid. Looking forward to watching them form their crystallis's.
Monahans
Rieley and I followed the bus to Monahans for the game. I am still not crazy about driving on these TX roads, with just Rieley. Plus, I knew, following the bus I wouldn't get lost. haha We picked up dinner at the lovely, McDonalds and then settled in for the cold and windy game. The girls won, and played fairly well. It is hard going to every game, knowing Bailey won't be seeing any action. But, we are there to support her and the team.
One of the girls on the team, Nikki, has a niece and nephew at each game, and it makes it alot more enjoyable this year for rieley. They play dolls, read, and do whatever is in the bag of junk to entertain each other during the games. Followed Nikki and her family home, as we were trying to beat the sun settings. Here in TX, once the sun sets, the speed limit slows down, for our safety, but makes the drive seem even farther.
